Aveo TSD Anti Snoring Device

​Upon looking at the Aveo TDS anti snoring device, you notice that it looks like no other sleep aid product on the market. It has a protruding section which sticks out of the mouth when the wearer is sleeping. 

The tongue rests on the center opening, which is a circular piece, within the outer wall of the device. In order to place the sleep aid inside the mouth, it must be compressed first and then placed inside the mouth, and then the tongue should be placed in the center ring to isolate the movement while sleeping.

Its design allows the person using it to isolate the movement of their tongue to prevent it from sliding back into the throat and blocking the air passageway, which disrupts the breathing pattern during sleep, which, in turn, causes snoring. The device is made from a flexible material which creates suction to hold the tongue in place. Although there are a few features about the design that make it seem unattractive and a bit awkward, it seems to work very well for the vast majority of people.

​Things to consider

As previously stated, the design is somewhat strange and looks nothing like the other sleep aid devices you see in stores. That should not necessarily be a deterrent, however. Upon getting my device, I carefully inspected the flexible material. After thoroughly washing the device I placed it in my mouth as per the instructions.

AveoTSD Snoring Mouthpiece had a smooth texture which seemed to feel comfortable in my mouth, but the shape and presence of the device felt a little odd in my mouth and would take some getting used to. It was definitely something I would have to adjust to over time. The device also limits your ability to speak and communicate freely, which might be difficult for some individuals who are not used to having limitations.

It is important to keep in mind that you should expect to have some limitation with speech when using any type of sleep aid. This may be more pronounced with this device because it is inserted into the mouth, rather than worn externally. This device also requires regular maintenance, meaning you should keep it clean and ready to be worn.

​Features I really liked

I must say that the price of this product(AveoTSD Snoring Mouthpiece), when compared with the effectiveness, is really quite the deal. Other sleep apnea and snoring remedies on the market have limited success and may require frequent replacement. The larger machines provided by a medical service can be very expensive.

If you have tried other methods and did not see much success, this would definitely be worth a try because it has the potential to give you the relief and full night's rest you have been hoping for, without the incredibly high price tag. It is also very portable and comes with its own carry case, so you can bring it with you when you travel.

The product simply requires regular cleaning, which it handles well because of the construction using high quality, durable material designed to last. It is really different from other devices because it controls the source of the sleep obstruction, which is the tongue falling back into the airway and covering it. The body sucks air in, to counteract the obstruction, which is the source of the snoring. With the tongue held firmly in place with the suction, it will rest in the correct position, allowing the airway to stay open and allows the air to flow freely into the lungs.

Overall, the device did exactly what it was supposed to do, which is provide a better night's sleep without snoring or interruptions in the breathing pattern. I went to bed and slept soundly throughout the night without waking.

When I woke up, I felt completely rested and ready for the day. It does take some getting used to, and may take some time to really get the hang of using it on a nightly basis. I do think if you can get over the unusual appearance and the positioning of the tongue while you are sleeping, you will likely experience relief. The product is going to require regular upkeep to keep it sanitary, but, if you are looking for a reasonably priced solution to your snoring problem or sleep apnea issues, you should give it a try because you may be able to get the kind of sleep you have been hoping for.​
