Can be Used with Dentures
First off, I’ve been suffering from snoring while I sleep for years now and have tried plenty of products available. They’ve all had varying levels of success and I have to make this trade-off between comfort and less snoring, but I do feel like ZQuiet finally provides a good balance between the two of these. My wife is finally happy with my loudness during sleep and says she definitely thinks it’s the best solution we’ve used yet.
That being said, I don’t necessarily think you should go out and buy one and hope to meet similar success, but should instead consider the pros and cons it offers to see if it could help you as well. Before I bought my ZQuiet I trolled all the forums and review sites out there to make sure it was first of all legit, and secondly whether it is actually worth the relatively high price tag. Here’s what I have found from that searching and from my own experience.
Pros and cons
Why do I think they’re different?
I know there are a number of different products you can use like pillows and nose clamps and whatnot, but this is the first product I’ve used that doesn’t feel as awkward or as clinical as the others. Over the years I’ve tried other mouthpieces so have got used to sleeping with them in, but this is definitely the one that fits most comfortably and I like that it allows me to still speak to my wife without drooling over the bed sheets.
Also, I feel like I got great value when I opened the package. As I mentioned, there are two mouthpieces that are delivered, with the difference being how far forward the lower jaw is set. In general terms, the worse your snoring is and the more experience you have wearing a mouthguard, you should try the one with the lower jaw further forward. I first tried the less pronounced one and my wife said my snoring was better, but the next night I tried the second one she said my snoring disappeared by about 90%! In the grand scheme of things, the reason I try all these gimmicks and solutions is to make her happy, so hearing this made me happy too.
It seems pretty durable as well; after a month of use it still feels virtually brand new and the moulding has barely shifted. Other cheaper mouthpieces definitely suffer from noticeable movement and deterioration so this is clearly made from something much more durable, as well as offering a little flexibility. In my cons, I said that some people have complained that it doesn’t last very long. I think that depends on what you’re looking to achieve. If my current ZQuiet holds up for a year before not working as well then I don’t care I’ll just buy another. $79.95 is hardly much to pay for a whole year, or even if it was just 6 months, of better sleeping for me and the wife.
How does the payment offer work?
Just to quickly clarify, many of these similar products offer an “x-day money back guarantee”; but with ZQuiet it’s not the same, and I’ve seen some people on forums who felt misled or confused, so I just wanted to clarify things. You first off pay $9.95 to have it sent to you, and if after using it for 30 days you aren’t happy then you don’t need to pay for it, but you won’t be refunded postage. But if you do like it then after 35 days you get charged $79.95 from your card, which has just happened for me and is when I decided was the best time to write this review. To be clear, there have been NO extra fees and I’ve not even needed to speak to anyone.
I think my problems with snoring are fairly average for what other people suffer from, so I like to think I’m a good person to judge the all round effectiveness of the ZQuiet. Also, I’ve tried other products and, to be clear, I will still go on to purchase and try new releases as well.
When it comes to using mouthpieces, in particular, there is a trade off between how much it reduces your snoring by, for how uncomfortable it is; and overall that’s how I base my judgement. Price isn’t normally too big a worry as if something came along that cost twice as much but did just as good a job with absolutely no discomfort at all, then I would buy the more expensive option.
Where to buy ZQuiet online?
For now, though, I’m going to continue to use my ZQuiet. If you think this is similar to how you think then I’d say give it a go. At the end of the day, if you buy it and don’t like it then $9.95 is hardly a lot of money to have wasted. Lastly, there are negative reviews with it online, but I have seen negative and positive reviews of every single product I’ve ever bought so the only person to make the final judgement should be you, so make up your own mind by giving it a go.
